Richmond Park At Sunset

Richmond Park At Sunset

Since it it fall- going into winter -at the moment, the sun literally goes down at around 3.30pm. SAH, that allowed us to easily go to the park and take some pictures when the sun was at its best. Ahhh I love these types of pictures. But before that, we did go eat something in an old pub called Nicholson’s. Enjoy (: -ps; quite a few deer will be included in this. The London Docklands

The London Docklands

Yesterday we all woke up way too early for half term, to catch a boat and go visit the London Museum Of The Docklands. These are some of the pictures that I took. They’re not in any particular chronological order – because they all got jumbled up on my computer and I didn’t want to figure it all out (: I’ll try to make sense of it all though. Couple’A Days Back Home

Couple’A Days Back Home

This half term, we went to visit Belgium for a couple of days – mainly because its was my grandmother’s birthday. We stayed fewer days that for previous half terms, which isn’t too fun, but it is a pro if you want to blog about it. Not too complicated to put together. We went to two locations – as always. La-Roche-En-Ardennes for 3 days, and Farciennes for one. Continue reading “Couple’A Days Back Home”

A Familiar Mountain

A Familiar Mountain

Every time we come to La Roche En Ardennes (Belgium), we always go on hikes on the same mountain, to the point where we have names for the different routes we take. E.g, the ‘sheep path’. So – this time – we went again. There’s also a really big forest at the peak, and because it is the middle of autumn, we obviously had to go and take a look.

I took quite a lot of pictures, and I’m going to put most of them in this post. The others will be put on a ‘travel diary’ type post coming up in a few days. Hope you like the photos (:

Richmond & The City

Richmond & The City

hi – this post is gonna be a long one – emergency exits are on the left and right

Let’s just say we were pretty busy these past two days (: As you can read in the title of this post, yesterday we took a trip to Richmond and today we went to do some casual, typical but nice Londonish things. Those would include the National History museum, taking pictures of swans and going to Kensington Park. But before I talk about that lets go back to yesterday when we went to take the train. First Day In Cassis

First Day In Cassis

Warning ; I wrote a lot of things down, and I mean a lot.

Today my family and I woke up at 2 am to catch the earliest plane at Stansted Airport. Before we could walk out of the house tho, there were quite a few things that we still needed to pack. For example, the day before I had gone shopping at Westfield with my amazing friend Carol [ Carol.khorram.wordpress.com ] and therefore had a lot of things to still put in my suitcase. After we finished all of that, a taxi was waiting outside. It wouldn’t drive us to the airport but to a type of travel-bus station that brings people to airports. First time I’ve done that. I simply listened to some music in the taxi until we arrived. At the bus station, we had to AGAIN WAIT 40 MINUTES for the first bus to arrive. So Clara and I decided to write some random things for a blogpost. The bus ride was 1 hour long, and I think we arrived at the airport at around 4 am to 4.30 am. As we had eaten nothing that whole day, we ate breakfast at Starbucks. Surprisingly for an airport, the line wasn’t toooo long. As per usual I got the Mango Black Tea Lemonade.  Continue reading “First Day In Cassis”
